Limited Vehicles

Limited vehicles in Roblox Drag Drive Simulator are a shop-timed class, not a permanent dealership row. When an event ends, those chassis leave the buy menu. You keep what you already purchased. You cannot assume the same bodykit returns next season. This page explains how to treat that class during BETA V1.1.8 [EVENT x LIMITED UPDATE] without inventing the five new special names ADV Gamers Team has not locked down in a public catalogue we can cite.

Pair this guide with the Vehicle Tier List Hub, the Motorcycle Tier List for everyday roles, the Independence event walkthrough, and the V1.1.8 notes. Codes that arrived with the patch sit on working codes.

What “limited” means in DDS

Public patch language repeats the same pattern: a version ships with a handful of Limited Special Vehicles, sometimes extra standard vehicles, and sometimes a separate police vehicle. Limited stock is sold through event or limited dealerships. Standard stock stays in normal shops. Police stock is gated by the Police pass and job flow.

V1.1.8’s public notes describe:

  • Five new limited special vehicles
  • Two new standard vehicles
  • One new police vehicle
  • Independence decorations on the map
  • PvP Independence Day Games
  • Five new redeem codes
  • DRL type, DRL colour, and indicator flash-rate mods
  • Kickstand that follows suspension height

The Independence Quest 2026 start date in those notes is 30 August 2026. If you log in after that date, assume the shop clock is already running.

Do not wait for a name list we cannot verify

We will not invent the five new limited bike titles. Community videos across 2025–2026 keep showing the same families even when the exact event SKU changes:

  • Vario-class drag scooters — automatic, often stretched or stripped for the lights.
  • Scoopy-class drag builds — similar scooter culture, different silhouette.
  • CBR-style sport — fairings, tail sections, sport posture.
  • Underbone drag — cheap-looking frames that become strip tools once ratios are short.

If a YouTuber parks a red sportbike next to a custom scooter in the garage, that is a family clue, not a licence to publish a fake internal name. Use the video on this page as a look at how limited drag bikes sit in the Independence garage, then confirm the live shop in your own server.

Event windows versus standard shops

During the window. Open limited / event dealers first, then normal Honda-style, Yamaha-style, Vespa-style, and drag shops. See dealerships. Spend RP you can afford to lose on a body you will not see next month. Do not skip codes — V1.1.8 added five.

After the window. The five specials stop appearing in the shop. Your garage keeps owned copies. New accounts that join late cannot buy that rotation. That is the whole point of the collectible role on the tier list.

Standard vehicles added in the same patch stay in normal inventory. The two V1.1.8 standards are the “always there after you miss the event” row. Buy those without panic if the limited row is already empty.

Police vehicle (separate from the five specials)

V1.1.8 lists a new police vehicle as its own bullet, not as one of the five limited specials. Treat it as a Police-pass / job tool. The Police pass (149 Robux on the August 2026 listing) advertises exclusive patrol vehicles, the police job, ranks from Bripda upward, missions, and gear. That is an RP role, not a claim that the patrol unit is the fastest Independence drag bike.

If you want strip times, stay on the motorcycle list. If you want traffic stops and Indonesian patrol liveries, buy Police after a starter bike exists. Mixing those goals in one purchase is how people waste Robux.

How limited ranks as a role

On this wiki, limited sits in the collectible bucket:

  • High FOMO, real shop timer.
  • Looks that match event decorations (Independence 2026 uses national-day dressing on the map).
  • Performance still depends on tuning. A limited scooter that you never ratio-match can lose to a C-tier starter.
  • Garage slots matter. The default cap is 75; Slot Limit Unlock exists for collectors who refuse to sell old event bikes.

Do not auto-promote every limited to S. Some event bikes are sport-shaped (A-like). Some are drag-shaped (S-like). Some are dressed scooters that belong next to B cruise bikes. Judge the family, then test Sentul.

Shopping order while Independence is live

  1. Redeem the new codes. Details on codes.
  2. If you have no bike, still follow starter vehicles — a C underbone first, limited second.
  3. Teleport or drive to the limited dealer. Public videos often place it near modification shops; layouts move, so walk the block.
  4. Buy one family you will actually ride, not five panic purchases.
  5. Apply DRL type/colour and indicator flash only after the mechanical tune exists. Lighting is a V1.1.8 toy, not a substitute for first gear.
  6. Run the Independence Quest and the PvP Independence Day Games if you want event rewards beyond the shop.

Older limited waves (cautious)

Public coverage of earlier BETAs also talks about limited batches: six specials around the Pettarani / V1.1.3 window, seven around the Superman-style V1.1.6 window, seven around the Slamet Riyadi / RideGo window. Version numbers in community posts sometimes disagree. We record those as public notes, not as a courtroom timeline. What stays consistent is the rule: limited leaves the shop.

If you already own an older Vario drag or Scoopy drag from a previous event, keep it. That chassis is now a collectible even if a newer Independence sibling sits beside it.

Passes that change what you can display

DragSpec, Luxury, and Police still matter during events. Some event rows are pass-locked even when they are limited. If the dealer says you need a pass, that is not a bug. Read the pass page before you assume the five V1.1.8 specials are free-to-play for every account.

After you buy

Park the new bike, take the screenshot, then go race. A limited that never leaves the garage is only a slot. Use Sentul to see whether the family you bought behaves like drag, sport, or cruise. Then update your mental rank using the motorcycle list letters — S launch, A sport, B cruise, C starter — instead of the word “limited” as a skill score.

When the Independence shop closes, stop refreshing the dealer. Move your attention to patch history and the next public notes. The collectible role is finished for that wave. Your next decision is whether the bike earned a permanent garage slot or whether you needed the C starter more than a parked souvenir.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Drag Drive Simulator questions.

What are the names of the five V1.1.8 limited bikes?

We do not invent those names. Public notes only confirm five limited specials. Identify them in the live shop by family: Vario drag, Scoopy drag, CBR-style sport, or underbone drag.

Do limited vehicles stay in the dealership after Independence Quest 2026?

No. Limited stock leaves the shop when the event window ends. You keep bikes you already bought. Late accounts cannot purchase that rotation.

Is the new police vehicle one of the five limited specials?

Public V1.1.8 notes list it as a separate police vehicle. Treat it as a Police-pass / patrol tool, not as one of the five shop-limited specials.

Should I skip a starter motorcycle to buy a limited bike?

No. Follow starter vehicles: codes, budget motorcycle, tune, Sentul. Buy a limited only with leftover RP you can freeze in a collectible.

Do limited bikes automatically win drag races?

No. Limited is a collectible shop class. Performance still depends on tuning and the family shape (drag, sport, or cruise).
