RideGo Taxi Guide

RideGo Driver is the online taxi job ADV Gamers Team added in BETA V1.1.7 [LIMITED x BIG UPDATE]. It is still on the live BETA V1.1.8 Independence build. Drag Drive Simulator has been live on Roblox since 15 January 2025 on 25-player online servers. You earn RP (cash). Gameplay never pays Robux. RideGo is a public-server roleplay loop, not a Sentul shortcut and not a Robux printer.

This page is the how-to. The short roster lives on the jobs guide. Patch bullets for the taxi launch live on the V1.1.7 notes. Spend the paycheck with how to earn RP and the RP planner. Redeem working codes before you grind fares; a taxi shift does not replace a code burst.

Clock in

Load a public 25-player server. Park with P so the bike is not rolling into the queue. Open job select near spawn — community tutorials call out the middle job board — and interact with E. Choose RideGo Driver. You should see a taxi-style shift, not Courier packages and not police tools.

If the menu refuses the role, you are probably still Civilian, already on another job, or standing on Sentul or Pettarani instead of a city street. Teleport back to the original map or Surakarta and try again. RideGo is free to select. It is not gated by the Police Pass at 149 Robux. That pass is a different job.

Spawn a vehicle you can actually drive in traffic. A cheap motorcycle from the first-hour loop is enough. You are paid for arriving with a passenger, not for a sixty-foot. Keep headlights (L) ready at night and know parking before the first ping. If clutch timing still wrecks city blocks, park the taxi plan and fix launches on the getting started path first.

First Order is onboarding

Public notes and the live badge row treat First Order as the onboarding fare: complete your first RideGo request and the job considers you a driver instead of a tourist. Do not overthink the first ping. Accept it, drive to the marker, wait for the passenger logic to complete, and finish the drop.

First Order is not Courier’s first package. Courier uses job-generated parcels. RideGo uses other players. If nobody in the 25-player room is requesting a ride, First Order cannot fire. Hop to a busier public server rather than standing in an empty taxi uniform.

After First Order, you are on the regular loop: watch for pings, pick up, drive, drop, repeat. Stay readable enough that the other player can sit through the trip. This is roleplay on a shared Roblox place, not a time trial against the passenger.

Take player pings — or leave

RideGo needs other people. Empty servers equal empty fares. That is the whole design. A quiet weekday morning is a bad taxi night even if you know every corner of Slamet Riyadi. A full evening room on Surakarta streets is the job working as advertised.

When a ping appears, treat it as a live person, not a glowing crate:

  • Confirm you are still clocked in as RideGo Driver.
  • Read the marker before you redline.
  • Use the map guide so original-city blocks and Surakarta’s Slamet Riyadi expansion are not a surprise U-turn.
  • Park at pickup and drop-off. P exists for this.
  • Do not treat the fare as a Tournament launch. You will miss the curb.

If the ping list stays blank for several minutes, stop waiting. Switch jobs. The taxi role does not generate NPC customers to fill a dead lobby. Private-server commands from the private commands guide also do not spawn passengers.

Rank Up, Earn More, Lucky Anomaly

The official V1.1.7 description names the fantasy in one line: RideGo Driver (Online Taxi) (Rank Up, Earn More, and Lucky Anomaly). This wiki keeps those names and does not invent XP tables, fare multipliers, or anomaly spawn rates.

What you can treat as public:

  • Rank Up is the advertised progression for staying on the taxi job.
  • Earn More is the advertised reason to keep taking fares instead of idling.
  • Lucky Anomaly is the advertised twist on the same loop. Public badge language also talks about anomaly passengers, still without a studio drop table.

Do not grind RideGo because a screenshot promised a cash number this page will not print. Confirm rank labels and any bonus text in the live client after you finish First Order. When the HUD and this paragraph disagree, the HUD wins.

Police ranks such as the Briptu and Brigpol ladder are not RideGo ranks. Mixing those ladders is how players buy the wrong pass. RideGo remains a free job on the public board.

RideGo is not Courier

Courier packages are a solo-friendly map tutor. Markers exist even when the room is shy. RideGo pings do not. If you came here because you liked delivering boxes, you can still do that — on Courier. If you came here because you wanted sirens, that is Policeman after Police Pass.

Use RideGo when:

  • the 25-player server is actually populated
  • you already know enough of the original city and Slamet Riyadi to take a marker without opening a second screen at every corner
  • you want a social paycheck between Sentul blocks

Use Courier when you want guaranteed drops and map reps. Use Office Worker when you want indoor math RP with no clutch. Use Barista at the Coffee Shop when you want a short cafe loop. Use Civilian only for free roam — it pays nothing by itself.

When to switch to Courier or Office

Switch as soon as the room cannot feed you pings. Sitting in RideGo on a four-player server is not patience; it is a dead loop. The jobs guide is the roster. Practical swaps:

  • Courier if you still need street memory on the map.
  • Office Worker if you want RP without traffic.
  • Barista if you can reach the Coffee Shop on the original map.
  • Sentul Time Trial if you came to drive fast, not to cab. Pair with how to earn RP.
  • Policeman only if you already bought Police Pass at 149 Robux and you want patrol, not fares.

2x Paycheck doubles salary from jobs you complete. It does not spawn RideGo customers. It does not double codes. Plan the hour on the RP planner so a quiet taxi night becomes a Courier or Office block instead of a blank stare at the ping UI.

Where you actually drive

Public V1.1.7 notes added Map Expansion Surakarta: Slamet Riyadi Street in the same bundle as RideGo. Fares run on that expansion and on the original spawn city. Sentul Circuit and Pettarani in Makassar are race hubs. Do not clock in next to Tournament lights and wonder why nobody wants a cab.

Independence decorations from V1.1.8 can sit on the same streets. Serve the ping first. Screenshots second. Event crowds can help RideGo because they fill the 25-player cap; they can also clog pickups. If a drop marker sits under a festival prop, crawl, park, and finish the fare.

An honest taxi session

  1. Redeem codes.
  2. Join a busy public server, not an empty practice room.
  3. Clock in as RideGo Driver.
  4. Finish First Order if you have not.
  5. Take pings while they exist.
  6. The moment the room goes quiet, swap to Courier, Office, or a Sentul Time Trial.
  7. Spend RP on a bike you can launch, not on a second uniform.

RideGo is still worth learning in V1.1.8 because the job, the Rank Up / Earn More / Lucky Anomaly pitch, and Slamet Riyadi all stayed. The Independence quest did not retire the taxi. It just added more people to drive past. Treat the live client as the rank list, treat this page as the clock-in order, and leave the job the second the pings die.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Drag Drive Simulator questions.

How do I clock in as RideGo Driver?

Join a public 25-player server, park with P, open job select near spawn, and choose RideGo Driver. Full steps are on this page; the other roles sit in the jobs guide.

Why am I not getting RideGo pings?

RideGo uses other players, not NPC packages. Empty servers mean empty fares. Hop to a busier public room or switch to Courier / Office until people are requesting rides.

Is RideGo the same as Courier?

No. Courier delivers job packages that exist even on quiet servers. RideGo is an online taxi that needs live player pings. Do not wait in the taxi role for boxes that will never appear.

What are Rank Up, Earn More, and Lucky Anomaly?

Those are the names in the official V1.1.7 RideGo description. This wiki does not invent XP tables or anomaly rates. Confirm labels in the live client after First Order.

Do I need the Police Pass for RideGo?

No. Police Pass at 149 Robux unlocks Policeman, a different job. RideGo is a public paycheck role. See jobs for the six-role split.

When should I leave RideGo for Courier or Office?

As soon as pings dry up. Courier teaches the map with guaranteed drops. Office Worker pays without traffic. Rank the mix on the RP planner.
