The Indonesian Independence Quest Event 2026 is the live headline on Drag Drive Simulator’s Roblox page. ADV Gamers Team tagged the public build BETA V1.1.8 [EVENT x LIMITED UPDATE]. That list is the ceiling of what this wiki will claim. It will not invent the five limited names, boss HP, or exact quest GPS. When the live client shows a marker, follow the marker. When a creator video shows a route, treat it as a hint and still verify in your server.

How to finish the DDS Independence event

Start the quest, not the shopping spree

Join a fresh 25-player server so you are on V1.1.8, not a stale instance. Redeem first. Store cart, Redeem tab, paste DDSSPECIALMERDEKA2026 and the other live strings from the codes list (the Roblox description also highlights DRAGDRIVESIMULATORAUGUST26 plus extra codes). Case-sensitive, no spaces. Event RP from codes is the cheapest way to afford a limited look without skipping clutch practice.

Then find the quest giver / event UI the update placed in the decorated city. Interact with E. Read the objective. Independence quests in DDS historically send you around maps collecting or completing steps; this 2026 edition is a quest event with endings that award public badges (Ending 1 and Ending 2 appear on the Roblox badge list). Play the steps in order. Do not assume last year’s cow hunt or winter event is the same route.

If interact does nothing, you may be on Sentul or Pettarani. Return to the decorated original city using the map guide.

Decorations and traffic

Flags and Independence Day props sit around the map. They are photo bait and navigation hints, not extra horsepower. They also clog 25-player streets. Park with P. Use headlights (L) at night. Do not Tournament-launch through a crowd of people taking pictures at the Coffee Shop.

Decorations help you confirm you are on the event build. If your city looks like a normal Tuesday, rejoin. Stale servers are why codes and quest NPCs “disappear.”

Independence Day Games (PvP minigame)

V1.1.8 adds a PvP minigame named Independence Day Games. Treat it as a side arena attached to the event, not as Sentul Track. Your drag controls still apply if vehicles are involved; your Tournament pool does not. Warm up elsewhere if the minigame has its own scoring.

Play the minigame when the quest or a badge step asks for it, or when you want a break from Time Trial. Do not skip the quest NPC because the minigame queue looks louder. Do not spend your entire RP buffer on cosmetic DRL flash rates between rounds — lighting mods are part of the same patch but they are not the quest.

Limited, standard, and police vehicles

Five limited special vehicles are the headline shop pressure. Limited means windowed. If you want one, check the limited tier list for how we currently think about value, then buy only if your cheap motorcycle already launches. Two new standard vehicles are the non-limited garage fillers — still tune them using the gear tuning ladder.

The new police vehicle is extra metal for players who own Police Pass (149 Robux) and work the Policeman role. The event does not delete that pass requirement. If you do not patrol, you do not need the police lot.

Kickstand-follows-suspension and DRL options apply to the garage generally, not only to Independence models. After you buy something event-themed, take it to a free-roam straight, then Sentul Time Trial, then decide if Pettarani is worth a top-end test. A limited that spins at green is still a spinning bike.

Codes during the window

Redeem DDSSPECIALMERDEKA2026 as soon as you log in. Then clear the rest of the codes list. Five new strings shipped with V1.1.8; they will expire. Codes never pay Robux. They pay RP so you can join the event economy without a week of Office Worker math.

If Redeem fails, check spelling, server freshness, and whether you already claimed that string on the account. Do not spam variants.

Event-window priorities

1. Fresh server, confirm V1.1.8 decorations.
2. Redeem DDSSPECIALMERDEKA2026 and the other live codes.
3. Start the Independence Quest and follow its steps for the endings you care about.
4. Sample Independence Day Games if the quest or badges need the minigame.
5. Shop limited vehicles only after a cheap bike still exists for drag racing.
6. Apply DRL / kickstand extras from the same patch without confusing them for quest progress.
7. Return to jobs and Sentul so RP continues after the flags come down.

The quest is seasonal. Sentul, Courier, RideGo, and gear ladders remain after 17 August energy fades. Do not sell the starter motorcycle that got you through getting started to fund a limited you cannot launch. If a step sends you across Surakarta or Pettarani, use the map page as the atlas and keep parking discipline in crowded event streets.

When the window closes, keep the vehicles you already tuned and read the next V1.1.8 leftover notes for anything that stayed in the garage. Event badges stay on the account; FOMO lots do not. Log out with codes claimed, quest steps honestly attempted, and at least one bike that still dumps at 6000-8000 RPM. That is a finished Independence night in DDS, not a screenshot of flags with an empty wallet.
